Freycinet Lodge Challenge - Entry
Entries for the 2010 event are open --- ONLINE ENTRY FORM ---
Entries Close: Wednesday 22nd September
Any entries received after that date at the discretion of the Race Committee
will incur a $20 late fee penalty. Please note that in 2009 the event did fill
to capacity (and more so!) and we had people on a waiting list - don't leave it
until the last minute or you could miss out if the event continues to be as
popular as it did in 2009.

Masters Teams - all members must be aged 50 years or over (as of 9th October, 2010)
Corporate Teams - all team members must work for the same company, and as long as there are enough corporate teams to constitute a category, (see note below), there will be a prize for winning corporate team, otherwise will be classified according to age/gender.
Junior Teams - all members must be under the age of 18 (as of 9th October, 2010)
Underage competitors must be a minimum age of 14 years to participate in a team, and must not compete in more than one discipline. Minimum age for individual competitors is 16 years. Underage competitors and their parent/guardian must make themselves aware of what the event entails, and the underage competitors must be well prepared in terms of physical conditioning, gear/equipment and support. A parent/guardian must sign the disclaimer on behalf of an underage competitor.
There is not a short course for juniors. If it is their first event, it is probably recommended they stick with just doing the one day event on the sunday as an introduction to multi-sport events.
Finally, underage competitors must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult and the race organisers do not accept any responsibility for looking after underage competitors or their equipment. Nor are underage competitors permitted into the licensed areas of the Freycinet Lodge without the supervision of a responsible adult.
